This new strap came. It looked great. Pure luck that I hadn't needed to tow anyone for months and the same weekend one of my mates breaks down. I was towing a 2007 bmw 1 series, it's only 1.3tonne the strap says it takes 10tonne, absolutely plenty you'd think but 1 mile up the road and bang. After recently pulling a delivery van out of the ditch that was blocking the lane outside of my home, I decided that I should get a decent tow strap to keep in my car. When the kit arrived I was very surprised and impressed at the compact size of the case, it fits behind my seat easily and is heavy enough to stay in position without moving around. The kit contains the strap which is very well made and rugged, it is rated at 10 tonne, which is probably the absolute breaking limit, but it is unlikely that I will ever get to that point towing with my car. To affix the strap to the vehicle towing eyes it includes two d-ring shackles which are also a step-up compared to a basic shackle. There is a rubber cover on the rounded part of the shackle to provide protection to the towing eye, whilst the strap is a snug fit on the bar part of the shackle it will not move when in use. There are even a pair of gloves to use to keep hands clean, whilst not the most attractive, they are functional and appear washable. A great kit at a great price.

Ho ricevuto questa fune grazie al programma Vine di Amazon e la porterò nel bagagliaio dell'auto per qualsiasi situazione di emergenza per cui dovesse risultare utile, sia per aiutare altri automobilisti in difficoltà sia per essere aiutato a propria volta. Probabilmente le occasioni d'uso saranno remote, ma in quei casi è fondamentale disporre di uno strumento del genere che sia robusto e affidabile: questo prodotto mi ha fatto un'ottima impressione in quanto le cinghie sono molto robuste (mi ricordano quelle utilizzate per bloccare i carichi sui carrelli), con cuciture forti che dovrebbero reggere carichi gravosi. Ottimi anche i due ganci metallici, di dimensioni generose e apparentemente molto robusti, fatti per agganciarsi al gancio di traino dell'automobile. Infine, comoda la confezione che permette di conservarle nel bagagliaio senza che le cinghie vadano a spargersi sul pianale, contiene anche un paio di guanti sottili da adoperare per il montaggio della fune.

La cinghia arriva in una comoda borsa con chiusura a cerniera che le agevola il trasporto in cui troviamo: 1 cinghia di traino da 10 t, 2 grilli rinforzati e rivestiti, 2 guanti antiscivolo. Come già accennato in precedenza la cinghia è idonea per il traino/recupero della maggior parte delle auto, ATV, SUV, camion leggeri, rimorchi, motoslitte ecc, permettendoci così di tirare fuori i veicoli da siti fangosi, buche, fango, sabbia, neve, ecc, situazioni spiacevoli ma che possono accadere viaggiando su strada. Punti a favore: - robustezza - facilità d'uso - design che avvisa del pericolo - dotazioni complete - facile trasporto Punti contro: niente di rilevante, solo il fatto che all'interno della custodia non ho trovato istruzioni all'uso e il prodotto non ha nessun marchio stampato sopra. Considerazioni finali: Ho particolarmente apprezzato prima di tutto la robustezza non solo della fune in se ma anche del resto delle dotazioni (grilli, cinghie, ecc) come anche la completezza del kit (borsa di trasporto, guanti, ecc). Si tratta di un prodotto di buona qualità costruttiva che infonde sicurezza e tranquillità nell'affrontare situazioni di emergenza. Si merita un posto fisso nel bagagliaio di ogni macchina, è una delle cose che non può e non deve mai mancare. Consiglio vivamente il suo acquisto! Ottimo anche come regalo utile!
