I ordered this tow rope set as part of the vine program in exchange for my honest review. Thankfully I haven't had to use this yet but I gave it a good inspection for this review. Everything seems to be excellent quality. Everything looks very strong and sturdy, functional and excellent for the intended purpose. The carry case is a nice touch and keeps everything together in your car boot for emergencies and I would happily use it in an emergency situation without worrying about safety etc. Seems great value for money and gives good peace of mind knowing you have it there if you need to use it. This is a really neatly packaged tow rope. The case includes gloves and shackles, so it's absolutely perfect for throwing in the car in case of emergency. I used mine to pull a stuck ride-on mower up a hill, and it worked perfectly. The only downside is that I didn't examine how it was rolled up before removing it and found it very difficult to get packed nicely back into the case.. !

I was surprised at how well made this product is, normally you get a thin flimsy strap, which feels it will break at the slightest tug. But this one is totally different, it’s a decent length, comes in a neat little case, and comes with two really well made heavy duty locking hoops, to attach to your towing eye. It’s extremely easy to put together, The double stitching and thickness of the strap is good, last thing you need when towing someone is for the strap to break. It’s has a type of reflective edge too so at night the strap will be visible to traffic. All in a great wee addition to my car emergency kit. Price wise it’s not bad I have seen items of lesser quality that are more expensive, so it’s right there in the middle, which is a good option.

Living in a rural area a towrope is essential kit so I was keen to replace my trusty old woven rope with this sleek, modern and more compact towing strap. It arrives packed into a very convenient zipped storage pack which fits easily beneath a front seat, complete with a webbing handle which can be strapped down onto the seat frame for safety, if needed. The strap immediately exceeded all expectations with its strong bright orange, weatherproof and highly visible 5cm polyester webbing construction backed with a section of high-viz yellow and reflective stripe to provide visibility in dark conditions. Stitching is strong and secure giving the user confidence. It is rated to tow up 10 tonnes. We tested it with a medium-sized car, a Citroen Berlingo, and the strap maintained its shape with no stretching or distortion and I am confident it would easily tow heavier vehicles as it proclaims. Thoughtfully, grippy gloves are included together with strong, chunky shackles for connecting to vehicles. Having seen the difference in quality between my old, grubby and very bulky tow-rope compared with this towing strap, I feel ashamed for not replacing it years sooner. This is in a different league and I don't think any driver of a typical small, medium or larger family car would be disappointed with this. The current price of £19.97 feels very fair too. Very highly recommended.
